A Barbershop Built on Tradition

Frank's Gentlemen's Salon opened its doors in February 2017 with a simple idea: bring back the barbershop the way it used to be. Not a quick chair in a strip mall, not a rushed ten-minute trim - a real barbershop. A place where a haircut is an appointment worth keeping, where a straight razor shave is still done the old way, and where every man who sits in our chair leaves looking sharper than when he walked in.

Nearly a decade later, that idea hasn't changed. What has changed is the number of Denver men who now call Frank's their barbershop.

Our Story

Frank's was founded by Lisa Franz, who set out to build a space that honored the craft of barbering while giving Denver men somewhere they'd actually want to spend an hour. Located just two blocks from Coors Field in Denver's Ballpark neighborhood, Frank's became a fixture for the LoDo and RiNo crowd almost immediately - the kind of shop you stop into before a game, after work, or on a Saturday morning when you finally need that haircut you've been putting off.

In 2018, Westword named us Denver's "Best Men's Pampering Palace." Since then, we've been recognized among Salon Today's Top 200 shops in the country for both 2025 and 2026. But the honor we care about most is simpler: a 4.8-star rating built from over 514 reviews, written by the guys who've sat in our chairs.

More Than a Haircut

We believe grooming should feel like it used to - unhurried, personal, and done right. Every visit starts with a real conversation about what you want, not just a number on a clipper guard. From there, our barbers get to work with precision cuts, clean fades, and straight razor detail that machine clippers alone can't match.

Beyond haircuts, we offer the full range of classic barbershop services: beard trims and straight razor edge-outs, hot towel face shaves, head shaves, and grooming touches like brow, ear, and nose waxing. We carry trusted product lines - Eufora Hero, Billy Jealousy, Blind Barber, Bearded Bastard, and Firsthand - and our barbers are always happy to recommend what's actually right for your hair, not just what's on the shelf.

And if you're a walk-in kind of guy, that's welcome too. We keep the doors open for walk-ins daily, whenever we have the availability.
